What Should We Do?

1) We should support freedom of speech by all.

2) We must support freedom of the press, or our democracy will fail to exist.

3) We should pursue freedom of religion for all.

4) We should support true law and order and respect for our Constitution- not claiming to do this and then shattering all norms of behavior.

5) We should respect and appreciate the police at the same time that we hold them to a high standard of protecting all humans in our society and force them to follow our laws as well.

6) We should understand that science and religion do not have to conflict with one another.

7) We should pursue true peace for our nation and for the world through strength in our military and diplomacy and not call our military a Department of War.

8) We should pursue fair capitalism, that rewards hard work and initiative, and does not just pad the pockets of billionaires.

9) We should pursue a fair balanced budget that is based on those who can afford it, not the backs of those who are essentially slaves in our culture. We have to face the reality of our deficit spending.

10) We must find the practical way to reduce the gun violence in our culture so our citizens, including our children, do not have to be afraid of daily life.

10) Whether we are Democrat, Republican, or independent- we must force our leaders to speak truth and not allow continual lying, we must deal with the hard realities of our current time, we must be actively involved in our democratic republic, or we will continue this rapid decline into authoritarianism.
