This morning I had the privilege of discussing my book at St. Michael's Adult Education Forum. I attended worship at their 8:45 a.m. service. What a wonderful worship experience! The music was wonderful and the message by Pastor Ali was great!
They have a great room for their adult forum which has some beautiful colored glass windows and a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting the group and talking with them about the concepts in my book. I emphasized that freedom of religion in our country requires that both contraception and abortion should be readily available for those who wish to use those health care services.
It was fun to connect with several of the participants after the forum, including one person whose mother had been a patient of mine when I practiced in Cottage Grove.
